The Wolf Range Company was established in Los Angeles in 1934 by brothers Al and Hyman Wolf. Their early business repaired and rebuilt household ranges before expanding into restaurant cooking equipment. By 1938, Wolf was manufacturing commercial gas ranges, griddles, fryers and ovens.
In 2000, Sub-Zero acquired the residential side of Wolf, bringing Wolf residential cooking into what is now Sub-Zero Group, alongside Sub-Zero refrigeration and Cove dishwashing. Current Wolf residential appliances are designed specifically for residential kitchens, even when their styling and cooking heritage draw from the brand’s commercial roots.
Appliance Crew is an independent appliance repair company. Our technicians are experienced with Wolf residential ranges, rangetops, cooktops, built-in ovens, convection steam ovens, speed ovens, microwave appliances and selected specialty cooking appliances within our service scope.
Wolf’s current residential cooking portfolio spans dual-fuel, gas and induction ranges, sealed-burner rangetops, gas and induction cooktops, E Series and M Series built-in cooking, convection steam ovens, speed ovens, microwaves and specialty drawers. Exact configuration and features depend on model.
Wolf cooking and Sub-Zero refrigeration are companion residential brands within Sub-Zero Group and are frequently installed together in premium kitchens. Appliance Crew works with both brands within the applicable appliance service scope, but each appliance is evaluated according to its own model, architecture and reported concern.
